"I can see what is keeping your mother and sister," Ronan said to Kari as he glanced back at Michael Priest. "I'm sure Michael is just as unhappy to be here as we may be to have him under our roof."
"Ronan, not this again," Priest said as he got to his feet and crossed to the patriarch of the MacFeorais clan. "Can't we, for one day, agree to co-exist in peace? For Finn's sake? My family and I really did not know that Le Fay was pulling the strings. If I had, I would have put an end to it. I was not one of her followers back in the day, and I certainly am not now."
Ronan just took in Priest and what he had to say as he cradled a cup in his hands. He did not trust Michael as far as he could throw the bloody cup, but for the sake of his grandson, he'd pull back and not cause a ruckus.
"Branan is trying to track down Le Fay," Ronan said as he turned to look out one of the windows off the dining area. "He went to Buckland, and then he's off to London and Glastonbury. He said he might contact Ardan and Aerfen. Aerfen has tracked Morgan before, so her help will be a benefit. I just pray she is in her right mind. She has been very fragile of late."

"Daniel!" Ceri said with a smile. "It's about time ye got yer tardy butt here!" She said with a laugh as he told Ceri and Shannon what kept him " Well we figured you would get here at some point but none the less we are both glad your here." Ceri said happily
"As for what we were going to do well I was going to leave that up to Shannon. Bryce and Alexia were going to do a little sparring in a bit which I'm sure will end up shaking the grounds a bit but to be honest not sure we were going to watch....Luv what do you think?" She said giving her girlfriend a playful nudge.

Alexia smiled as Maeve made the offer. "Actually yes I would like to take you up on that Aunt Maeve. If you can let my father know I am here I would like to see him." She said as responded to Callan. "Well her transformation only happened a few moments ago but yeah she's gone through a few changes."Alexia said laughing. "Laugh it up sis ya know I'm gonna kick yer butt out there!" Bryce responded and Alexia kept laughing. "We'll see sis we'll see." She responded before thinking more about Callan's question. "As for teams I just don't know yet I haven't thought much about it....I guess it's something to think about."

"There is plenty of time to think about teams later," Thom said to Alexia as he gave Callan another odd look. "This question coming from the man who told the Shadowhunters to, what did you say all those years ago?"
"Do not go comparing that incident to Alexia's choice," Callan said as he seemed to physically try to shake off Thom's comment. "Old Man Starkweather and the leather-clad loon squad did not want us around and you know that. X-Men and Avengers are, for the most part anyway, not that crazy, and therefore are worthy of respect and aspiration to join either team if one is so inclined."
"Callan, Thom, Alexia has only been here a very short time," Maeve said as she reached out the window and called a raven into the room. "Our friend here will get to your father and let him know he is most welcome under this roof." After attaching a scroll to the bird's leg and saying an incantation, Maeve released it back into the wilds outside the manor. "We should hear soon."
"It will be an honor to meet Thor," Callan said as Thom nodded. "I think Thom has before."
"I did once a long time ago when the Avengers and X-Men fought side-by-side in Manhattan," Thom replied as he thought back to that moment. It was the day Jean Grey died.

"I thought you were supposed to bring your baby bro with you?" Shannon asked Daniel as he shook his head. "What? Alan bailed on you?"
"Alan had to study," Daniel said as he rolled his eyes. "Meaning he doesn't want to do all this family stuff right now. He was having problems with some of the other students. Some pink haired kid named Quire is driving him batty."
Shannon thought for a moment about the pink haired guy and knew exactly who Daniel was talking about. "Ugh. That kid is full of himself. OK, we'll just have to have fun without Alan. I don't care if we watch the sparring or not, Ceri. After all that demon nonsense, I am not exactly itching to do any sparring at the moment, though. Do you like horses? Maybe we can go out to the stables and then go for a ride around the lake? As long as we are far enough away from the sparring, the horses shouldn't get spooked, should they?"

"Before anyone does anything else," Donal shouted as he exited the kitchen with several plates teetering on his arms, "breakfast or brunch or whatever you want to call it is served! Now someone please grab some of these plates before they crash!"
"Unca Donny gonna drop the food!" Annaliese shouted as she took a plate from his hand and put it on the table. "Oooo! Waffles!"
"Yes, with strawberries. Your mum told me you like those," Donal said with a grin as he handed Brigid a plate of chocolate chip pancakes with bananas on top. "And I made sure Uncle Rory didn't burn those, Brigid."
"Oh! Thank you! Unca Remy burns them all the time, so I feed them to Red XIII," Brigid said as she tucked into her stack of pancakes.
"Chocolate isn't good for dogs, sweetie," Donal reminded his niece, "so best not to share with Red."
"But he's cute and he loves to eat with us!" Annaliese said between mouthfuls of her waffles. "He's cuter than that three headed puppy at Buckland's!"
"Well, make sure you ask Vincent before you give Red any snicky snacks. I doubt Vincent wants to have Red get sick all over the place," Donal added as he set down the last of the food. He glanced at Michael Priest but decided not to talk to the man. "I have more food to bring in. If anyone wants to help, please follow me!"

"I'll help," Kari said as she motioned for Michael to take one of the empty seats in the dining area. "Donal, you shouldn't try to carry so much. Remember the last time you tried that stunt?"
"When Grandmum howled at me for breaking not only the good china but the china given to her and Granddad when they had their very special wedding anniversary dinner way, way, way back? Yes, my ears still ring from the drubbing I got that day," Donal replied as he handed his sister some more plates. "What's up with Dana? If that twit Wisdom..."
"Talk to her later, when everyone else has wandered off. Whatever happened seemed to be dictated by MI6, so if Uncle Valen finds out, there will be hell to pay," Kari added as she looked past Donal toward Rory. "All good there, Iron Chef?"
"Other than the stove being a bit twitchy, all good," Rory said as he grabbed a huge pot of coffee and poured it in a thermal carafe. "What happened to that SHIELD muckity-muck who was talking to Piper MacLeod? Coulson, I think? He had gotten injured during the fight."
"As far as I know Piper did her usual stellar job and sent him on his way. I think I'm going to have to chat with her soon if we have any hope of tracking Morgan Le Fay down. Piper had mentioned some new items in the Buckland arsenal that might come in handy."
"Malcolm went shopping again?" Donal asked as he shook his head, grabbing a bottle of blackberry syrup to take to the table. "Dana still likes this stuff, right? I can't stand it."

D wasn't a strong practitioner of the mystic arts like Alucard, nor did he have a variety of artifacts tucked away like Dante did. Thankfully, he had access to Dante's closet. So when a rift opened up in the middle of the room, the source of the disturbance was of a very random and erratic arcane source. Even though Daiyei's travel companion had more than enough power within him to provide transportation for their journey, they needed something unfamiliar to disguise their trip; letting their target become aware of anything was a chance they weren't willing to take, especially after the last time.
Once the rift opened, a three small nodes shot forth and immediately began to orbit around the source of strong Asgardian magic. he fact that the nodes didn't return and continued to float around in their destination informed D that they were on point.
And afterward, D shot forth from the rift, his Nodachi in his left hand as he flew directly toward the source of the Asgardian magic almost in a blind frenzy as magical nodes circled his body rapidly, slightly obscuring his vision except for the strong Asgardian energy that he tracked. He raised his weapon and prepared to strike in one swift motion. He knew that it wouldn't do much, but it would provide the necessary distraction for the backup to do the heavy lifting.

Roslea had volunteered to come downstairs to let let everyone know that Finn was indeed going to be fine after his use as a mystical battery by Morgan Le Fay. Cormac and their mother, Kennis, were deep in "discussion" about Cormac's daughters Leslie and Diana, and Roslea knew when to beat a hasty retreat so they could finish their chat. Neither girl had been to the family homestead in ages, and it was a huge bone of contention at the moment.
"I think I'll just go get some tea," she said as she exited the room and hurried down the stairs. Roz really thought nothing of all the noise going on downstairs until she let her left foot hit the last step and saw a man jump through a rift with a nodachi drawn. She had no idea who he was, but he seemed to be going after Alexia and...
"Is that you, Bryce?" she shrieked as she saw the man make a move toward the weapon near Bryce. "Goddess, who are you?" she asked the intruder as she tried to put a barrier around the weapon, but whatever she did was repelled. "If you are some twit from the Mystic Council, I'm going to see Melkir and read him the riot act for this! You can't just barge into people's homes with a nodachi drawn! What do you want?"
Roz was the least attack-driven of the sisters, so she kept trying to play defense while others started to draw weapons to push this intruder back.

Bryce and Alexia's mood both changed with the sudden arrival of D and from his first moments in the home it was quite obvious he was not a friend. Bryce was quick to act as was Alexia. The now Armored Bryce pulled her Axe from her side as it glowed so did her eyes looking bright as the sun. "You have stepped foot in our home and you are not welcome....Leave now!"Bryce said as her voice echoed around the room. She heared Roslea's question and answered not taking her eyes off of the stranger. "Yes it's me aunt Roslea but now is not the time to explain." She said as Alexia stood in front of her sister her eyes crackling with lightning. "Your time to explain your presence here is fading fast...I suggest you do it now because if you are here for hostile reasons your time will be very short."

D could feel the mystic tug on his sword and attempted to fight through the resistance in order to complete his task to the best of his ability. Previous offensives failed miserably, so he hoped that he could bypass the momentary block fast enough to achieve his goal.
In the process, he heard several voices that he hadn't expected. And with his vision obscured by the rotating nodes and their auras, he couldn't verify where they were coming from. Did they just waltz into a Weapon Plus trap?
"Daiyei, halt!!" It was at that moment that D immediately began to relax and began to lower his massive sword. At the same time, the rift began to stabilize and widen as Asgard's current skyfather calmly made his way through. Mjolnir was in his hand, as if he were primed and ready for a fight, but based on his demeanor, it was clear that he was a non-threat. "A mistake has been made. We are amongst innocents."
Thor briefly glanced around the room, taking note of the amount of magic users in the room. As he let out a relaxed sigh, D slung his nodachi across his back once more and disabled the seeker nodes that were in the room. The nodes began to fly wildly around the room before they essentially evaporated into nothing. "No mistake has been made. We picked up on your power signature and it lead us right here." As D glanced around the room, he clearly noticed Kari on the opposite side from him. Didn't take much to guess that this was probably a family meeting of some sort. He never had much interaction with them, but he always heard that theirs was practically an army.
"Our apologies," Thor announced as he removed his helmet and slung his hammer across his waist. "In hunting the homunculus Stark and Richards created, it seems that we were lead here."

Kari's face went in an instant from bright and happy to sullen and clouded as she saw Thor and his companion Daiyei or D as he was called by Dante Walker. She looked at the axe and shook her head. "I am just grateful it isn't Loki who happened upon that energy signature," she said as she set down the items she had been carrying in from the kitchen when Thor and D arrived. "And there is no need to apologize, Thor. I have had to do much the same when faced with Cailleach's interference. No one was injured, and that's all that matters."
Roslea stepped back by Kari, her arms crossed and her face sporting a quizzical look. "I'm sorry if I over-reacted to your arrival," she said to D as she nodded her head toward him. "We have wounded here, and the thought of an attack set me off."
"Roz, how's Finn?" Kari asked as Michael Priest walked up behind them to listen in as well. "He was injured at that disastrous Hellfire Club event. Morgan Le Fay decided to crash the party, Thor, and she used Finn to boost her powers."
Kari tread lightly around the phrase "my son" and chose not to use it so Priest didn't get into some melodramatic fit over her wording.
"Finn will be fine," Roslea said as looked between her sister and Priest. "Michael, I can take you up to see him while Kari finishes her business down here. He needs to see both his parents."
"Thor, where did you last see Ragnorak?" Kari asked as Logan and Kurt joined the group near Bryce and her axe. "And do you need any of us to join in the hunt? I'm sure we have enough people to go after both Le Fay and Ragnorak."

Alexia put a hand on her sisters shoulder as Bryce closed her eyes and calmed herself. The warrior inside her wanted so much to be let out and her connection to the mystical weapon in her hand increased it a hundred fold but she also had her mothers patience. That combined with her family being around kept her in control. "Well I'm glad it was just a misunderstanding and we would be glad to help you if you so require it?" Bryce said as her serious look changed to a calmer one. She looked back at Alexia and patted her hand. "Thanks sis." She said as she looked back at her mother and Thor. "Actually in the end it works out because I believe someone here wants to talk to you." She said giving Alexia a nudge. Alexia stepped forward looking at her father. She wanted to run into his arms and give him a hug but knew he needed to know who she was. "Thor."Bryce said speaking up for her sister. "This is Alexia. She is one of mothers daughters who traveled here except she also has a connection to you." She said as Alexia finally spoke up. "Hello father."

{{Thank you for handling the introduction, Bryce}} Kari said as she moved closer to Alexia and Thor. "I'm sorry I didn't do the introduction myself. I'm still rattled after that incident with Le Fay. My apologies on that, Alexia. You are now, at least, getting to meet the most noble of our Asgardians. I know seeing Loki earlier at that party was not a pleasant thing."
"That party, by all estimates, will go down as the worst gathering in New York in ages," Nightcrawler said as he set down his beer glass as he nodded to Thor. "But at least it has brought about a family reunion."
"Indeed it has," Kari said as she stepped back a bit. "Thor, Alexia has quite a tale to tell. If you want a more private place to talk, I can gladly show you to one of the rooms off the garden, and you both are welcome to join us here for a bit of a repast after that nightmare," she added as she looked between Thor and D.

Thom smiled at Alexia as she stood next to Thor. It was easy to see where Alexia got most of her physical features from. Her resemblance to the God of Thunder was uncanny. "I'm glad you are finally able to get to meet each other," he said quietly as he turned toward his mother and motioned for her to step aside for a moment. "I know this is not exactly what everyone planned, but at least it gets things moving in the right direction."
As he turned back toward Bryce and Alexia, Thom had what might not have been the best idea, but it was likely one that would, at least, ease any tensions in the room. "Alexia, Bryce, perhaps we should use this opportunity to have Thor see you test out Macha? Thor, any insights you have into this weapon would be most welcome. We had planned to have a bit of sport out in the grove near the manor house."
"A bit of sport? Who says that anymore?" Callan asked with a hearty laugh. "I forget at times you cling to the ways of Victoria England, Thom, at least when it comes to speaking."
"Don't mind Callan," Thom said as he looked at his sisters and Thor. "I found this weapon at the Hellfire Gala, and I'm not sure how it got there. Short of bringing in that weapons expert of mother's from Chicago, this seems the safest bet to see what it is all about. Alexia, Bryce, do you think I'm wrong about that?"

There was a collective sigh of relief once Thor appeared to diffuse the situation, mostly on D's end, though he didn't show it. Had he gone through and managed to kill what he thought was his target, he knew things would not turn out well for him. There were far too many mystics present for him to come out unscathed, and he didn't even think that Thor could come out on top in this encounter. Sure, Alucard had said something to the effect of him being a Skyfather and possessing the power of Odin, but it wasn't like D was one to fully grasp that level of power or the power of everyone present.
It would've been a mess, and it would've burned bridges.
"If someone jumped through a portal in my house, I'd overreact, too," D exclaimed to Kari as he climbed off of the table and glanced around the room. "It's only expected."
"Ragnarok has not been seen in some time," Thor said as he turned to Kari to answer her question, I have only encountered this monster twice before; in Normandy and more recently near the island of Genosha in an old laboratory."
"We managed to track him to what was apparently an old lab for Mister Sinister. He's working for or with Weapon Plus." D shot a glance over toward Wolverine, knowing full well that he would take that information the hardest out of anyone.
"I do not know how such an organization has come in possession my clone. I was informed that SHIELD took it into custody after Hercules damaged it. Another thing that must be discussed with Stark." Last time Thor and Tony had a chat, Thor left Iron Man smouldering in his suit of armor from a lightning bolt, so the two weren't on the best of terms. It was bad enough that the man cloned him in the first place, but then he had a security lapse that allowed it to fall into the hands of madmen. "The man he was working for appeared to be one of your allies; that Snake fellow. It might be beneficial to have a discussion with him as well."
Thor paused a bit when Bryce and Alexia moved over and they were introduced. Thor was taken aback by the revelation, but D wasn't phased all that much. He'd worked with the X-Men and the auxiliaries enough to know that clones and alternate reality shenanigans were rampant. "Now we know where your power signature came from.
"Aye," Thor said to D before he focused back on Alexia. "Tales can be told over dinner. I hope there is plenty of mead!"

Ronan glanced at Kari and then to Logan upon the mention of Weapon Plus. He knew that any involvement that lot had in relation to Thor's clone could not be good. He had heard the name Snake in the past, but he had no idea who the man was.
"You are both most welcome here," Ronan said as he stepped forward. "I am Ronan MacFeorais, father or grandfather to most of this brood here gathered. Please, gentlemen, join us at our table, and I will see about the mead."
"I'll check on the mead," Donal said as he nodded to his father. "And see what we have in the pantry that our visitors might like. I'm not sure leaving Rory to make the choice is the best idea."
"So says the man who likes to eat Fruit Loops," Kari said with a chuckle as she moved closer to D, "and I think we would all appreciate any information you have on that lab, gentlemen. As for Snake, he comes and goes a lot. I can't rightly say the last time I remember seeing him among the X-Men. Then again, we have had our own demons to exorcise."
"Michael, you have had dealings with both SInister and Weapon Plus," Ronan said to Priest as the Gray King of the Hellfire Club backed up a bit. "Perhaps you can shed some light on all this?"
"I have not been involved with Sinister since his days with the Third Reich, and I loathe those fools who run Weapon Plus. I lost some good men to them," Priest replied as he looked at the Asgardian god and his companion. "But, there have been rumblings about new players in the human weapons market. I am sure that little Russian spy with the Avengers knows a bit about that. I heard she had been nosing around in things. Stark's girlfriend. She is not as subtle as the Black Widow."
"What about Liam? He has been involved with the recent X-Men hunts for Weapon Plus, hasn't he?" Ronan asked Kari as she nodded in reply. "He should be joining us soon, Thor. Until he arrives, please, enjoy your stay with us," he added as Donal finally brought out the mead.

Miri looked at Sean as everyone else seemed to be drawn into this talk about clones and Weapon Plus. "Oh, I am so afraid I am not going to make a lot of friends with what I know," she whispered to Sean as she squeezed his hand. "My father has been making his presence felt in a lot of the seedier parts of the weapons markets of late, and he's been dragging my brothers into this mess as well. This whole scenario with Patience has me pushing a lot of things out of my mind. Maybe I should tell them everything I do know?"
As she looked at Sean, Miri bit her lip and brushed a tear from her eye. "All I want to do is run away with you and forget this insanity, but good people could die if I did that. And I'd rather go into our marriage with a clear conscience and a contrite heart. My father is a true black heart, and he would think nothing of putting any of us in danger, and that includes me and my siblings."
Miri kept wiping tears form her eyes as she looked up at Sean. "I know you don't hold my father's actions against me, Sean. I'm just scared others might."

Sean looked at his fiancee and brushed the tears from her eyes and gently kissed her. "Miri you are not your family or the rest of your family....You are you and no one will ever hold the sins of your father against you." He said hugging her again.
"It might help the rest of us figure out the best course of action the more information we have but we wont force you Miri you do what you feel is best."

Miri squeezed Sean's hand and cleared her throat to get people's attention. "For those of you who do not know me, my name is Miranda Rydenborne. My father is the arms dealer Jackson Rydenborne. And I might be able to help you all with some information I heard from one of my brothers..."
As she turned to look into Sean's eyes, she knew she was doing the right thing. She also knew Michael Priest might tattle on her, so she loosed Sean's hand and walked over to Priest. "I realize your son was injured at that insipid party, Michael, so I am not trying to kick you when you are down. But we both know my father, and we both know he is not playing with a full deck at the moment. If you want to make sure your children are not the targets in this stupid game of human chess he is playing, please, please don't run off and tell him anything."
"Your father and I had a rather nasty falling out, Miranda," Priest said as he looked her in the eye and didn't flinch once. "He sold some arms to the Purifiers, and I took him to task for that. Your commentary will be safe with me."
"Roz, why don't we make this a moot point by taking Michael to see Finn?" Kari asked as Roslea started to guide Priest out of the room, but he stopped her at the foot of the stairs. "What?"
"I may be what you all consider a brigand, Kari, but I am no fan of Weapon Plus, and you damned well know why," Priest said as he crossed his arms and stood looking at everyone. "Perhaps I can add to Miranda's commentary?"
"Oh lovely," Miri said as she took a big breath and walked over to Thor. "My father and brothers have been discussing some crazy nonsense Weapon Plus is doing to include mystics and other residents of the Downworld in their cadre of assassins. I know Kari's son Damon was one of their operatives. Is he here? I know vague plans about weapons shipments and some things they are developing to counter certain mystic attacks. I would think he knows more than I do."
"Damon's here," Kari said as she tapped on her temple, indicating she was sending a telepathic message to her son. "He had said they were conditioning a Salem witch to be one of their attackers. He didn't know her exact lineage, but he knew she was extremely powerful. Perhaps they are trying to harness Asgardian magic via that hideous doppelganger of yours, Thor?"

Damon quietly glided down the staircase and saw everyone gathered in the dining area. The fact Thor was there threw him off a bit. He had no idea who the man in the black hat was, and it didn't exactly matter a lot at the moment.
"So, you want to pick my brain for Weapon Plus intel?" Damon said as he flashed a fanged grin at the Asgardian god and his companion. "Sure thing. But anything I tell you I'm fairly certain they will have amended by now. Unless it was given to me as a way to trap the X-Men. That's always a possibility with that bunch of maniacs."
As he grabbed a table chair, spun it around and sat backwards on it, Damon thought about the last lot of test subjects he had helped free from Weapon Plus. "Those wing nuts are trying to gather a force of mystics and other Downworld creatures to form an army. They have one very powerful witch, but she's young and likely is not as refined in her mystic attacks as they hope. The last group that was sprung when I escaped were mostly mutants, though. What sort of information are you looking for anyway?" he asked Thor before he looked back toward Kari and Logan. "Mum can do a telepathic sweep for anything buried too deep. I don't have a lot to hide at this point."

Roz was bewildered as she looked at Kari and stepped back away from Priest. All this Weapon X talk gave her a headache. She knew Kari's friend Lochlan had lost a daughter to that bloody lot, but she did not want to get hip deep in some talk about raiding their labs. She would support the family in their endeavors against Weapon X or Weapon Plus or whatever they were calling themselves now, but she was not exactly equipped to be on the front lines. She was more healer than warrior, and going against Weapon X required more than what a healer could do.
{{If you need me to herd the man off, I will}} Roz said to her sister in their link. {{I know he is not exactly all he says he is, but I also know he has had, well, issues that he rarely speaks about}}
{{Michael will be fine}} Kari replied back. {{And if he goes off the rails, I will handle it}}
{{Oh, I know that good and well, Kiki, but I would rather avoid such nonsense. Hayley or Gabriel will likely show up to fetch the twins, and I don't want them walking in on some brawl. Bad enough Super Nanny is here watching me like a hawk. Eliza is nice enough, but she gets a touch off at times. Must be the black faerie blood}}

Bryce got a sly grin on her face as Thom suggested with Thor being there that she might test the new weapon out. As both her and Alexia were planning to have a little fun in a little bit anyway this just reaffirmed they needed to do just that. "I think that would be a fine idea indeed Thom. Alexia and I can have our fun any time the rest of the family wants to head out there but maybe food is the best option first. That way everyone can get a bite before the festivities?" Bryce said before Alexia spoke up. "Well if you need a few moments before I kick yer arse all over the field sure I'm game!" She said as Bryce stuck her tongue out at her and they both laughed. "So how should we go about this first?"

Rory had grabbed Donal again, and the two of them brought out more food and drink for the growing number of family and friends and Avengers wandering the halls. "Erin, Sean, I found the blood wine," Rory said as he set a rather large amber glass container on the table. "Damon! Sorry. I didn't realize you were down here now. Where did Kendra wander off to?"
"The rest of Sibling Central is upstairs, driving poor Ichigo nuts. I'll call them down in a few minutes, but I'm sure Tara already sniffed out the waffles and is dragging them down here," Damon said to Rory before he turned to Erin and Sean and handed each of them a glass for the blood wine. "At least Uncle Rory is a good cook. All this talk about Weapon X is bringing back way too many memories, so the food and the company should help push them back."
"Erin, if you don't find anything you like to eat, let me know," Maeve said as she went to grab a plate of various cuts of bacon, ham and rashers and put them on the table. "Your grandmum likely stashed a few things in the pantry where Rory can't find them."
