"And she is not fine," Roslea said as she went over to the table and stood behind where Logan and Kurt were sitting. "She is as not fine as she was on that trip you took her on and bought her the broom closet shirt. I'd try to summon Queen Ororo, but Kiki would be cross if I did."

"I forget you two have nicknames for each other," Kurt chuckled as he looked between Roslea and Logan.

"Seriously, Logan, go for a walk-about with Kari, please," Roslea said as Kari walked over. "And I do not need a lecture, Kiki. You need to go outside. Now."

"You'd think I was the younger sister," Kari said as she shook her head. "Fine. Logan, I could use a few minutes to pull myself together."

"Good! Go!" Roslea said as Logan got up from the table and followed Kari outside. Roz promptly sat down next to Kurt and sighed deeply. "It isn't good. None of this is."

"I see that twit Ruskin is, as always, waiting to make a grand entrance," Michael said to Faith as he watched Kari leave with Logan. "My lovely, I think that is my cue to exit. I know you want to spend time here, so maybe soon you and Finn will come stay with me? Andraste's litter should be born in the next few weeks, and I'd like it if you and Finn could help name them...and maybe take one home with you, if no one minds..."

Andraste was Priest's prize-winning Irish wolfhound, and he really wanted one of the pups to go to his daughter and son, but he knew the X-Men were not often the most accommodating of souls when it came to pets.

"Enjoy your time with the family, Faith, and thank you all for letting me check in on Finn," Michael said as he kissed his daughter and then walked out the front door of Raven's Rock. What he had not been sharing with the world would soon become evident. A certain member of the Hellfire Club was making her presence known in the southern United States, and one of Priest's spies had found her location.

"This place is turning into Grand Central!" Liam quipped as his cousin Laurel came in and started to literally drag Thor outside while Zach and Tara came racing down the stairs and straight out the front door. Zach had his gear on, so that had to be a bad sign. "Uhm, Daniel, Ceri, maybe we better run after them?" Liam asked as he looked at his cousin, his sister and her girlfriend Shannon.

"We were supposed to go meet old Hot Knives at MI-13, but this looks more important," Daniel said as he grabbed his own gear and nodded to Ceri and Shannon. "Yes, I'm texting Wisdom," he said as he pulled out his phone.

"I think Zach is headed for the area just past the training grove," Liam said as he looked over at some of his other cousins and then headed for the door. "I hope Zach is wrong, but he looked freaked out."

To escape all the hubbub going on in the house, Dana and Orion had gone for a short walk, but she returned alone, twirling a piece of ribbon between her fingers as a frown crossed her lips. "Orion got a summons from Fiona. He was needed in the Arda for some reason," she said as she sat down with Kurt and Roslea. "He'll be back as soon as he can."

"I wish he hadn't left," Malachi said as he pointed to the number of cousins, nieces and nephews that were leaving the house to head toward the training grounds or the lake. "I'm afraid we'll need him back here sooner rather than later. Daniel said he was contacting old Willy Nilly about something."

"Do not call Pete that name!" Dana protested. "I am getting a terrible feeling that someone is toying with us again, but I'm not sure what to do about it. I don't think either of us is up to a long chat at this point."

"I'm going out to see what the kiddie corps is up to," Damon huffed as he looked at his aunts and uncles and assorted X-Men in the dining room. "If Ichigo is twitchy, that can't be good," he added as he looked at Kurt and shook his head. "You may need to go find Logan and my mother. I hate to go all Obi-Wan on you guys, but I have a bad feeling about this."

"Please, be careful, and round the lot of them up if nothing is wrong," Roslea said to her nephew as she got up from the table, walked over and gave him a hug. "I really don't want anything to be wrong, if you get my meaning."

"I hear you, but I'm not too sure I can make that kind of magic happen," Damon replied before he vanished in a blur as he sped outside.

While everyone else was running about and out of the house, Miri grabbed Sean's hand and took him outside. "I am beginning to think going near my family, right now anyway, is an extremely bad idea. My father will curse us, as will William, and Xander does whatever they tell him to do. I do not want to start our life together under a cloud or some unbreakable spell work."

Miri thought for a moment about her sister Isabella and how much she would have supported this union. Bella would have said to run and marry now before anyone got wind of it. "Sean, what is your most favorite place in this world?" she asked as she thought back to a talk she had had with Bella almost two years ago now. Bella had been going on and on about where she wanted to marry Edward one day, and it made Miri wonder if Edward would have been as enthusiastic about the choice. Miri and Sean had the advantage of wisdom on their side, and the clairvoyant knew that, to make a marriage work, compromise and understanding your love's needs and desires was key. "That is where I want us to get married. And when? Does as soon as possible sound good to you?"
