Updates...yet again

First off, I do owe you all an explanation about that announcement that isn't coming. I had been toying with shutting the place down. With only three of us active at the moment, I got a tad depressed. Chris talked me down from that perilous place. Thanks, Chris.

The only solid update I can give you is a sad one. James is officially gone from the board due to work hours driving him crazy. He is welcome back when and if his schedule clears up.

I am debating a switch up of sorts regarding upcoming stories, but I need a bit more time to plan out the plot. I am hoping it is a way to bring in some characters in play into spots they might not have seen themselves in before on this board. So please bear with me as I toss the names in a hat and see what pops out. At times it is like working with one of those Magic 8 ball things. What sounds brilliant at 3 a.m. isn't so great at 3 p.m.

I vaguely remember seeing Multiple Man. The Antonio OC seems familiar.

I had hoped Craig and Antonio would cross paths in story since both are connected to organized crime. Antonio is a darkness wielder, so I'm sure he and Craig could have had interesting power-related sagas.

Now, the explanation bit...

When the board was created, a lot of it was built around stories that Stalik, Stephanie and I worked on together. Despite his time away, Stalik really does want to come back. We start talking plots, and I get geared up for some wonderful stories for the board, and then he has RL make things very hard to get back. He really can't give me any sort of solid return date, so a lot of things have to be redirected.

After all this time, the redirections have taken a toll. I tend to sit with rose colored glasses on, pinning my hopes on his return, and he hopes we can not run too fast so he can't jump back in. Walking that fine line has made us both crazy at times. It has also hurt the board.

I am going to try to craft some plot points that move things along but do not make it impossible for returning or new gamers to jump in. It may take time, but I will do my best to make it work for everyone.
