To all our visitors, a most heartfelt welcome. If you are here before July 1, we are currently setting up our board. We are moving from Invision Free, and our admin Raiden has been hard at work making things from there work here. Bravo, Ray!
As means of an introduction, here are a few basics and stats about the game:
* We will be celebrating our third anniversary in August. That would not be possible if not for the gamers (past and present) who call this board home. Thank you all!
* We have about 10-11 gamers on the roster at the moment (a few are on leave at this time).
* We are comic-based, but we take an original spin on the comic stories. We are in the time period just after the birth of Hope Summers, but we will not be doing every story that took place in the books.
* Yes, we do encompass the entire MU. We have SHIELD and Avengers stories in play or starting up soon.
* We do accept Next Gen or Legacy characters, something we have been told is a bit of a rarity if the board is not considered an Alternate Universe board. You can see more about that in our rules.
* While this is not an AU board, we do allow characters that call AUs their home.
* Magic is not a dirty word here. Yes, magic in games can be considered deus ex machina if not handled properly, but because of the characters in play, it is vital to our world's makeup.
* Our OCs run the gamut of the MU--baseline human, mutant, mystic, vampire, were-creature, aliens, cyborgs. If you can imagine the character, we will likely accept them. And that includes spins on other comic characters (look at Raiden's Darkwing as an example) and revamped movie staples like Jack Sparrow and Indy Jones (who both have ties to Karenza and her family that make them work in this version of the MU).
