X-Men characters belong to their rightful owners and not to me
Jubilee grinned after she opened her eyes and sat up in bed. *It's mall day! I'm looking forward to window shopping,
eating, etc.!* she thought. After dressing, she ran downstairs and entered the living room where she searched for the
other X-Men. ''I'M GOING TO THE MALL!'' she shouted while she wondered if any of her associates heard her.
Jubilee's eyes settled on a sheet of paper that happened to be on the table until she approached them.
She read the words at a fast pace.
''Jubilee, I am with the rest of the X-Men since humans are rioting in the city by our home.
Humans aren't very enthusiastic about living near mutants! The reason why you're not with us is because you must
prepare the infirmary in case any X-Men are injured. We'll return as soon as possible. Storm.''
The inability to shop all day caused Jubilee to scowl. *I know I'm the youngest X-Man, but it's boring staying in
the X-Mansion while other X-Men battle our enemies. The X-Men assume I'm safe here. They dread the thought of our
adversaries hurting me since I'm young. I can always go to the mall and return before the X-Men arrive* she mused
until she walked to the front door. After opening the door, she closed it and ran into the woods before she paused and
gasped.
Her eyes widened in disbelief when she viewed a blob known as Mojo sitting on a mechanical scorpion.
The spineless creature was near Spiral the six-armed woman and Major Domo the android. Jubilee stepped back as soon as
Spiral, Major Domo, and their master noticed her. She heard Mojo while he mentioned seeking new slaves for his television
programs and thought his sudden grin was creepy. She observed Spiral releasing energy beams from every hand during a
dance before they combined to form a portal. A confused expression materialized on Jubilee's face the minute Spiral
disappeared in a mere instant. Jubilee turned her head after the unusual woman reappeared behind her form.
She struggled after she was embraced and lifted by all six arms.
''Put me down!'' Jubilee exclaimed until Spiral walked through the portal with Major Domo and Mojo.
She found herself within a small chamber before Spiral approached a glass case, opened the door, and threw her into it.
She frowned as soon as the door was closed and the woman ordered Major Domo to guard her. The prisoner heard Mojo
as he instructed the strange villainess to help him plan for her television program debut. ''I'm unable to go to the
mall! The X-Men always treat me like a baby! Now I'm going to be a blob's slave!'' she muttered.
Her puzzled expression returned when Major Domo glanced at her and scowled.
''You're in the Mojoverse where Spineless Ones such as Mojo enslave others for high television ratings.
I'm one of Mojo's slaves now and for eternity. I always have to walk on eggshells near Mojo or he'll end my life.
Mojo will spare your life if ratings for your televised performances are good, but he'll fly into a rage and
tear me apart if they are poor,'' Major Domo said as his way of telling her to shut up.
Jubilee began to pity him until a thoughtful expression formed. *Maybe life with the X-Men isn't so terrible.
At least I'm not their slave!* she pondered. Her frown returned when Mojo and Spiral entered the chamber.
A shocked expression replaced it as soon as Mojo revealed she was going to battle a slave to the death for good
ratings in a few minutes. The captive's eyes were on Spiral while she opened the door. She noticed the portal and
gasped since the six-armed slave of Mojo forgot to close it earlier. She ran out of the case and into the sphere
as Mojo glowered at Major Domo due to her escape.
*I'm glad to be home again!* Jubilee mused after she walked to the X-Mansion, opened the front door, and stepped
into the building. She gasped and looked sheepish when the stern X-Men stood in the living room. *At least I'm
not the property of a spineless creature!* she thought while the X-Men scolded her for failing to prepare the
infirmary, disappearing, etc. She never viewed Major Domo resting on the floor and sobbing uncontrollably due to
scratches on his back courtesy of Mojo's claws, his life as a slave, etc.
THE END
