''How are the vampires and werewolves able to survive if they battle so often? Shouldn't they be extinct?'' Isabella asked. She began to approach the window. That was when she saw the gardens.
Isabella's eyes widened as a painful memory formed in her mind. A memory of her ex-spouse's kiss burning her in a garden. If roses had eyes, they ''saw'' Isabella's death. The Isabella in the memory shrieked as fire consumed her body.
The flashback ended. Isabella trembled uncontrollably as she stepped back. She turned to Selene after the latter's question.
''My ex-spouse and I danced together after our wedding. As for regular dancing, I don't dance. Not usually.'' Isabella ceased trembling. ''If the vampire is a friend of one of the X-Men, should we interact with him at all? Shouldn't he be our enemy?'' she asked.
