Code name: Dryad (Greek mythological tree nymphs)
Real name: Angelina Pappas
Age: 17
Hair: Brown

Weight: 115 lbs.
Powers: Has a "communion", as she calls it, with all of nature, but is especially tied to trees. She can "melt" into them as camouflage, and she hopes to one day be able to use them as extensions of her own body (make one grow taller as she stands in it to be able to see beyond her current location, etc.)
Parents: Theo Pappas (Greek-American IT expert, dad) and Maria D'Angelo (Italian-American professor of genetics at University of California, San Francisco)
Siblings: Angie has at least one brother, but I need to flesh her out before I entertain bringing him into the game
How Angie met Cynara: Both went to a private school while Angie's parents lived in London (Mom Maria taught classes at University College London)
Bio: Angie is a force of nature in any room she wanders into. She had to be in her family where loud political discussions and Sunday afternoons watching both European- and American-style football were the norm. Her extended family (not likely to be seen in play) was a delightful mish-mosh of both Greek and Italian traditions, and big family dinners where you learned about the world were no exception.
Dryad first found out she was a mutant when she "hid" from some guys at school in a bunch of bushes and found out she had literally melted into them. She found out about her buddy Cynara's powers when the girl doused Angie by accident during a fire drill.
When Cynara said she was going to be signing up at Xavier's, Angie's parents thought their baby girl might benefit from forming ties with fellow mutants. Her mom was also familiar with the genetics work of Xavier and McCoy, so that was a plus.
