"When the girls get back from Ireland, I can introduce you to them. Their family is having some big reunion, and they went over there with their nanny."
"You mean the hot version of Nanny McPhee?" Quentin asked as Hisako kicked him in the shin. "Ouch! What was that for?"
"You are acting like a jerk, Quentin," Armor replied as she kept glaring at Quire. "Eliza McPhee is very nice. She can't help it they have that Nanny McPhee movie series, can she? She looks more like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill than Emma Thompson with a fake nose."
"Yes, ice cream and popcorn sounds great!" Ali replied to Sasha as Cynara and Angie started to clear up some of the empty cartons. "Thanks, girls."
"Hey, I know I want to see the movie, too," Angie said with a big smile as she tried to move around Quentin to get more empty containers. "And you, Mr. Quire?"
"You think I want to see that? Seriously?" Quire replied as Angie walked away. "I want to challenge old Wade here to a video game contest the likes of which he has never seen!"
"That's great. Knock yourself out!" Ali said as she looked back to Sasha. "Want to help me start the popcorn then? I don't really want to witness Wade and Quentin playing video games later."

''I'm looking forward to meeting them,'' Sasha said. He turned to Quire. ''A video game contest? Sounds interesting. Although I'm a bit more interested in seeing movies now. Maybe another time.'' Sasha faced Alison. ''I'll be more than happy to help with making popcorn.''

"A video game contest without Deion and Duke from Cybercide? You mean someone else will stand a chance of winning?" Rahne said with a big grin as Quire rolled his eyes at her. "Yes, maybe after the movie we can all be part of that--either playing or as the audience."
"Too bad Lexie isn't around," Hisako said as she kept looking at Quentin. "She always cleans your clock when you play, Quentin."
"I am not challenging Wade to Dance Dance Revolution! Are you people crazy?" Quentin shouted as he stomped around the kitchen. "Who wants to see Wade dance?"
"Who wants to see you shake our money maker?" Rahne asked as Ali started laughing. "Sorry, but seeing QQ over there trying to be Magic Mike is not my idea of a fun evening."

Sasha didn't know much about video games, but he figured it couldn't hurt to view someone playing such games. He wondered what would have happened if Mr. Dragotti had purchased a video game system during his days as the latter's button man. He shuddered at the mental image of Reynard hitting him if he lost a game. Reynard probably would have thrown the system at him!
''Dance Dance Revolution? Sounds like a fun game to play.''
Sasha tilted his head in curiosity. ''I suddenly remember hearing about a Russian mutant called Omega Red. I would love to meet him! I don't remember what his abilities are.''

Ali kept laughing as she went to grab the popcorn maker and handed it to Sasha. "I'm sorry, but I remember the school dance when Julian Keller and Mr. Quire over there got involved in a dance off. I think Jubilee engineered it. It was...truly ridiculous."
By now Santo was laughing as well, and soon a few more students joined in. "It was high-larious! Jubilee kept changing the music, and at one point they fell on top of each other. It was like Twister without the game board! Julian screaming at Quentin, and Quentin yelling that we were all petty peons or something."
"OK, gang, enough memory lane stuff," Ali said as she finally found the popcorn. "We have an air popper, Sasha, because most of the girls eat their popcorn plain, but we can melt some butter in the microwave if you want. And I think we have those shakers with the cheese topping, too, unless someone took them all again. Hank grabs them and takes them to the lab. He's always microwaving popcorn. I'm just glad he doesn't set off the alarms!"

''Thanks, Alison,'' Sasha said after she handed the popcorn maker to him. He placed it on the counter. He turned to Alison. ''Jubilee kept switching the music and the guys fell over? Sounds humorous,'' he said with a grin. His grin remained on what was left of his face. ''You can melt butter if you want.''
The thought of Omega Red never departed from Sasha's mind. ''Are any of you familiar with Omega Red? He seems like a very interesting fellow. Maybe we can invite him into our home.'' |

Ali almost dropped what was in her hands when she heard Sasha mention Omega Red. "Oh boy, that might be a tough one..." she said as she regained her composure. "He has a few enemies among the team, chief among them Wolverine. I'm not sure how Cyclops and Emma would feel about having him here." "We've had Mystique and Sabretooth living with the team, and Magneto, too!" Quentin yelled. "And it isn't like Wolverine is a Boy Scout or something. And that crazy bunch of Irish people with swords...they must have killed a million villagers or something." "Excuse me?" a tall young man said as he poked his head into the kitchen. "Quentin, that's my family you're babbling on about. Shut it. Now."  "I think we are going to go find that movie in a minute, Sasha," Ali said as she watched the young man walk in. "Marrac, you know Quentin is a pain. Let it go." "You channeling your inner Disney snow queen?" Marrac asked as he nodded to Ali and Sasha. "I'm kidding, Ali. I'll behave. I just wanted to grab a soda." "But back to Omega Red," Ali said as she looked back at Sasha. "Why did you think of him? Is it because he's Russian?" |

Sasha's eyes were wide with interest. ''The X-Men are Omega Red's enemies?'' His eyes became big for another reason after a man poked his head into the kitchen. After stepping back, Sasha started to relax. He faced Alison. ''I heard about Omega Red on the radio once. It was revealed that he was a Russian mutant. That's why I'm interested in hearing more about him and possibly coming across him.'' |

"He and Wolverine would not exactly be the best of pals, under any circumstance," Ali said to Sasha as she kept one on Marrac and Quentin. "You two..."
"Will behave, or I'll get a bit peeved," Rahne said with a very soft growl. "You two go grab the movie, and those who want to join you will pop in soon."
"I can go get the movie," Megan said as she ran off to the dorm rooms to go grab the copy of Anastasia. "I'll meet you in the rec room."
"OK, then," Ali said as she grabbed the popcorn and smiled at Sasha. "Let's go get things set up."

''I'm wondering what Omega Red did to irritate Wolverine,'' Sasha muttered. He glanced at Megan before the latter went to get Anastasia. ''Thanks for getting the DVD for us, Megan.'' He had his eye on popcorn and couldn't wait to eat some. Sasha couldn't believe he was still hungry after eating a large amount of food earlier. That was when he followed Alison to the rec room.
