Perched way up on a building, seemingly a spot no mere mortal could find access to, sat a young girl, knees pushed up to her chest, as she just observed the busy late night streets of ChinaTown. From here the people looked like insects, scurrying along with little purpose or meaning. Something that Laura had always felt from her own existence. She struggled to fit in or find meaning to her life, even as much as Logan tried to become that figure in her life to guide her, sometimes Laura just needed to be alone. But was she alone.
Without so much as flinching from her knees to the chest position, Laura popped out her claws, sensing someone else was near. Soon a shape came out form the shadows. " Easy there killer, no need to feel threatened, just another lone wolf enjoying the night air." Niko said as she stood, also watching the people below.
" I'm not exactly fond of company." Laura mumbled as she slowly slid her claws back in, not exactly comfortable with the situation but knowing Niko wasn't a threat. " I like to be alone..." Laura buried her head into her knees. Niko didn't really move, still just standing and watching. " I can see this, I have noticed you here many nights before, though I have never alerted my presence that i too come here, until tonight."
Laura just facing forward, her eyes often at times drifting close to drowning out the world around her. Niko finally sat down as she looked over at Laura. " I know you aren't looking for friends here, but you and I, are not so different, perhaps different creation, but alas, we were both made to be instruments of death and destruction." Laura did listen to Niko's words, they rang true more than she would like to admit. " Thanks...." Laura whispered, lifting her head slightly.
