Blink was not thrilled about letting someone else call the shots about location and transportation at the moment, but she really didn't have much of a choice. This world was foreign to her, and the Tallus was not behaving quite as it should at the moment. "TJ, you and I can bring up the rear with Cybercide in case we need to make a back door out of this place," she said to her best friend as she tossed two lances at some of the oncoming Death Angels. More and more of them seemed to be popping up, and that had to be a very bad sign. As soon as she teleported two away, they seemed to just come right back at them. "I'm getting the feeling those power dampeners are working overtime!"

Alexandria came to the end of the tunnel and entered the room where the fighting was going on. She looked to see who was generating the portal and shook her head when she saw the witch Frejya Bjornstad doing the dirty work. "I need to go get my stupid brother, and then we can take care of the rest of these crazies. Spiral, please do what you need to...and watch your back around our one eyed combatant. She is not to be trusted."

Spiral followed her companions. Her eyes became smaller at the sight of Blink. The other woman seemed familiar to her. Blink seemed like the exact kind of person Mojo would have been interested in. Her unusual eyes would have caused television ratings to increase in Mojo's dimension just like Spiral's multiple arms. Spiral continued to focus on Blink.

Alexandria stopped a moment and saw Spiral staring at the pink-skinned woman with the lances in her hands. "I take it you know that one?" Kilduff asked before a bullet came zipping past her face. "You want to experiment on someone? The redhead. She would make a fine augmented being! She's my brother's lover, and I can't stand her pompous, arrogant..."
"Shut it!" Driver growled as she she ran with her katana toward some weird Japanese guy in robes. "I'm going to get the swordsman!"
"And she will likely ask him out on a date!" Alexandria shouted as she finally ran after her brother. "Gar! Don't be a flaming idiot! Forget that bitch and come with me!"

"And now this world has a Spiral?" Blink asked Nocturne as she let more lances fly. "Great! I thought they killed all the mutants. How did they miss her?"
"Maybe she teleported out before they killed the others?" TJ replied as she pushed back an attacking Death Angel with a hex bolt. "I'm not super crazy about that demon guy going with us. I'd try to possess him, but I have never had a lot of luck with demons."
"I remember the one time you tried, so I'm glad you didn't this time!" Blink replied as she let two of her lances fly at Spiral. "I'm not happy about him being brought along for the ride, but he is one of the reasons we came here in the first place! We need to end this fast so we can follow the others, and the sooner we get Spiral out of the picture, the better!"
"She has all those swords," Nocturne said as she waited for the lances to make contact. "This won't be easy!"

Spiral glanced at Alexandria prior to a nod. ''I am quite familiar with Blink. Our paths crossed,'' she said before she noticed Nocturne. Spiral began to frown. ''I am VERY familiar with the blue one! I might end her life slowly and painfully instead of experimenting on her,'' she said.
Spiral winced after one of Blink's lances slid past one of her many arms. A small cut formed on her arm. Her teeth were bared until she touched the cut. She concentrated on Blink. ''Instead of experimenting on you, I'll let you suffer Nocturne's fate!'' She revealed four swords. |

Blink gritted her teeth and looked at Nocturne before letting two more lances fly at Spiral. "She said she knows us. She isn't some alternate version. That's the Spiral we know. How the hell did that happen?"
"Oh, I wish my dad were here with his swords!" TJ replied as she saw Spiral advancing. "She is going to kill us if we don't get out of here."
"She didn't kill us the last time. She won't now," Blink replied as she looked around for something to fend Spiral off with besides her lances. "No leftovers," she muttered as she pulled two more lances as Nocturne sent a hex bolt at Spiral. "Did Mojo send you after us, Spiral? What twisted TV show is he planning this time?"

Spiral was barely able to dodge two additional lances. She glowered at Blink. *I don't have to use every arm for swords!* she thought. Spiral saw TJ until she grinned. ''You can remember your father before you depart from this world.'' She cried out after Nocturne's hex bolt struck her.
Spiral managed to hold every sword as she was knocked back. Her body fell before she slid on the floor. She scowled at her enemies again. ''I am no longer affiliated with Mojo. To answer your other question, I have no idea what TV show he is planning this time.'' She stood at a snail's pace. |

"You aren't working for Mojo? Then this is all personal?" Blink said as she looked at Spiral and shook her head. "Every villain in the universe has a thing about beating the X-Men."
"I ain't no X-Man, and this lady has got to go!" Carlos yelled as he put his hands to the floor and tried to shake Spiral up a bit. "You two move it before we get in any more trouble!"
"Like these Death Angel things and Spiral aren't trouble enough!" Nocturne shouted as she sent another hex bolt at Spiral. This one missed and sent Carlos diving for cover. "Sorry!"
"What are you getting out of this, Spiral?" Blink asked as her attention was diverted toward the back of the room. "What did you three do? What followed you down here?"
All the fighting had started to form cracks in the building's infrastructure, but these cracks seemed to lead to other places beyond the building. A large clawed foot came out of one crack, and it was soon followed by the rest of what appeared to be a three headed dragon. "Is that your new pet, Spiral?" Blink shouted as she tried to avoid being clawed by the creature.

Spiral wasn't fast enough to teleport far from Carlos. Her enemy's power caused her to shake against her will. She began to glower at him. ''I shall end your life as well,'' Spiral said to Carlos. She was barely able to dodge Nocturne's other hex bolt. A tiny smile materialized on her face after Blink's questions.
''That is for me to know and for you to never find out!'' Spiral exclaimed. She turned her head after she saw a large clawed foot. Her eyes widened at the sight of a three headed dragon. Although Spiral herself had six arms, the dragon still shocked her. ''The dragon is not my pet. I don't know anything about it.'' |

TJ's pupil-less eyes seemed to grow into big, round yellow circles as she saw the dragon. "Oh crap!" she shouted as she looked at the dragon. "Guys, I saw one of those before. With Excalibur. Near Camelot. Back when King Arthur was alive..."
"That's a time fissure!" Gareth Kilduff yelled as he looked at Carlos and the six-armed woman called Spiral. "Lady, what the hell did you do?"
"Time fissure?" Nocturne said as she looked at Spiral and then back toward Blink. "Guys, I hate to say this, but I don't think Spiral is doing this. My mom warned me about this sort of thing if too much magic is in play. And if this world is based on magic, well, then we're screwed."
"Spiral, we need to get out of here now!" Alexandria Kilduff shrieked as Victoria Driver dove to get out of the way of a plume of dragon fire. "Abaddon has other bases. You can't build an army if you're dead!"
"Wha...what? Build an army?" Nocturne said as she just stared at Spiral before the room started to fill with fire. "Guys! I see more fissures opening! This whole place is collapsing!"

Spiral turned to Gareth prior to a frown. ''I'm just as shocked as you are,'' she said to Gareth. She faced Alexandria after the latter shrieked. ''I was going to send the dragon to another dimension, but you are correct about corpses being unable to build armies.'' Spiral smiled at the thought of teleporting the dragon to Mojo's dimension. The mental image of a wide-eyed Mojo fleeing from the dragon prior to the creature devouring him caused her to grin.

Blink looked at Spiral and thought maybe she should let her send the dragon somewhere else, but the dragon was quickly surpassed in the amount of terror it caused by a group of futuristic soldiers appearing from another fissure. "I think we'll call this one a draw!" she shouted at Spiral as a loud explosion erupted behind the six armed teleporter. "I do not feel like fighting you and the Terminator behind you!"
"Termin..." Nocturne started to say to Blink as one of the cybernetic soldiers sent another blast at the group. It didn't seem to care who or what the target was. For all Blink knew, these things were being controlled by someone on the other side of the fissure.
"Can you close these fissures?" Blink asked Britt as the redhead kept firing on these new threats.
"I am not that powerful!" the leather-clad former bounty hunter shouted as she kept squeezing off shots.
Blink just stared at Spiral, and she knew she had to ask the next question even though she didn't want to. "Can you..."
"Not our monkeys, not our circus!" Alexandria yelled as she looked at Spiral and opened a portal. "Back to Abaddon, and then the hell out of this place!"

A loud explosion caused Spiral to wince. Scowling, she turned until she saw cybernetic soldiers. *The newcomers remind me of Lady Deathstrike and the Reavers. Their bodies resemble some of my work in the Body Shoppe.* Spiral faced Alexandria before a portal was opened. Although she still wanted to send the dragon to Mojo, a deceased woman couldn't do such a thing.
Spiral glowered at Blink and Nocturne. ''You're lucky I have to depart. Your luck will eventually run out.'' She ran to Alexandria. Spiral was uncertain if she had enough time to create a portal to another dimension. She was grateful for another person's ability to open portals at the drop of a hat. |

"You are much too important to lose in this mess," Alexandria said to Spiral as she looked around for that maniac woman Victoria Driver. "Driver, on the other hand, has been a thorn in my side for ages, but she does have access to Ronan's vaults, and money is always good."
As Alexandria looked around one more time, the dragon set off another plume of fiery smoke directly at them. "OK, that's it! Driver, you can melt for all I care!"
"I'm coming, you frilly idiot!" Victoria shouted as she pulled her sword from the gut of one of the cybernetic shoulders.
Alexandria watched as Spiral entered the portal, and Driver followed soon behind the six-armed teleporter. The portal snapped shut as the trio made their way back to Abaddon.
