However, since Alucard doesn't require blood to sustain himself and his disdain for such acts, he avoids this entirely. Superhuman Strength: Like all vampires, Alucard possesses superhuman strength, giving him the ability to lift about 4 tons under optimum conditions. Superhuman Stamina: Alucard's body is more resistant to the fatigue toxins generated by his muscles during physical activity. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to affect him. Superhuman Speed: Alucard can reach running speeds of about 40 miles per hour for sustained periods, but generally opts against it and uses regular transport instead. Superhuman Agility: Alucard's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels beyond the human body's natural limits. Superhuman Reflexes: Alucard's reflexes are several times greater than those of the average human. He's able to respond to various attacks faster than the average person and could possibly dodge gunfire if he were far enough away and had enough time to respond to the situation. Regenerative Healing Factor: Should Alucard suffer some damage, such as a gunshot wound, his body is able to rapidly heal itself of damage, allowing him to recover from a variety of wounds in a matter of seconds to minutes. Alucard is pretty much immortal. Should he ingest the blood of someone while injured, it would speed up his recovery process, but he has abstained against it due to his moral code. Telepathy: Alucard is a capable telepath, capable of reading the minds of others with weak protection against psionic intrusion and communicating with others. Telepathic Illusion: He can use his telepathy to create realistic telepathic illusions and cause people to experience events which are not actually occurring. Astral Projection: He has the ability to Astral Travel and communicate with others astrally through his own will, or through contact with the thoughts and memories of others. Mystical Connection: Alucard has the ability to manipulate mystical energies, bending them to his will to create a variety of effects. His powers are vast, and he is able to tap light and dark magic equally. Force Fields: Alucard is capable of generating protective fields around himself and others. He can even put a force field around people and objects away from him, as long as they were in his line of sight long enough to protect them. Telekinesis: Alucard can levitate objects and people within his environment. Healing: Alucard can use his magic to heal physical injuries through physical contact. Concussive Blasts: Adrian can generate mystical blasts of concussive force, allowing him to blow beings, objects, and energy attacks off course. Elemental Control: He can manipulate the elements such as, earth, wind, fire, lightning, and water for a variety of purposes. Teleportation: Adrian can transport himself and others across vast distances, up to ten miles, just as long as he knows where he's going. Spirit Summoning: He can summon disembodied spirits, appearing as white clouds, to do physical damage against multiple targets before they disperse. Dark Metamorphosis: By using this spell, Alucard pulses red, and any blood that touches his body would then be converted into mystical energy to speed up his recovery process. Soul Steal: Despite the name, Alucard really converts the life force of his enemies into blue sphere of energy, which then are drawn to himself or his allies in order to heal multiple people at once. Enemy targets are usually fatigued, though it could prove to be lethal, especially on demons. Metamorph: Alucard is able to shift his form. Bat: Aside from granting him the natural abilities of a bat, this form allows Alucard to shoot fire from his mouth. Wolf: This form grants Alucard superhuman speed, allowing him to reach speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour in a straight run. Mist: Alucard becomes water vapor, pretty much rendering him invulnerable to physical attack. Poison Gas: Similar to the mist form, though this form can disorient and render being unconscious. This form can even prove to be lethal should he will it to be. Vampirc Immunity: Being one of the only true Vampire's on the planet, Alucard is immune to garlic, sunlight, and various other things that are said to kill Vampires. Familiars: Faerie: Faerie, as her name suggets, is a fairy of myth. Her magical powers, while minute, are specialized for dissolving illusions. Faerie can immediately recognize illusions, manipulated changes in personality, and the alteration of reality, allowing her to help those under the illusion to break from the control. She's also well versed in crafting potions of all types through alchemy. Piskie: Piskie is a pixie, and quite similar to her fairy companion. Piskie is well versed in magic, specifically healing magic, allowing her to speed up recovery. In order to heal, she must first sing in order to summon the necessary mystical energy. Most find her singing to be quite pleasant and soothing to the soul, allowing her to calm even the most extreme displays of emotion. Ghost: Ghost is as of a ghost as Ghost Rider is a ghost. Similiar to Ghost Rider, Ghost is actually a floating, translucent skull surrounded by an aura that constantly shifts through all shades of the color spectrum. The aura is painful to adversaries and can damage on contact, or be projected as beams of energy by Ghost. Ghost is also capable of Alucard's Soul Stealing spell, but must be done on physical contact, and the energies gathered must be deposited to those in need by physical contact. Imp: Imp is a typical, purple little demon with command of the elements through his spear. Earth, wind, fire, lightning, and water all fall under his command. Bat: The bat is a very large Vampire bat capable of releasing a directed wave of sound, similiar to Banshee and Syrin that can shatter objects and disorient people. The bat can also spit volleys of hellfire from its mouth and summon 10 other bats to aid in combat. Each bat summoned gains the abilities of the familiar, but to a lesser extent. Sword: Sword is a floating, sentient, green broadsword with a face at the base of the blade. Being a floating, sentient sword, it's capable of attacking at will. It can also generate energy blades and project them at targets. By wielding Sword in his hands, the properties of the weapon will increase Alucard's physical attributes. The process is draining on both, and inhibits the use of magic. Strength level: Alucard possesses superhuman strength, enabling him to lift four tons with maximum effort. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Expert Swordman: Alucard is an expert swordsman, possibly one of the best in the world. Martial Artist: Alucard is a proficient martial artist, more than capable of handing himself in a fight. Knowledge of Vampires: Being a Vampire himself and the son of Dracula, Alucard is well versed on Vampire Lore. Knowledge of The Occult: Alucard is well versed in the Occult, though thanks to his extended hibernation, isn't as extensive as many others within his field. WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT: Alucard possesses a number of weapons and other assorted items. However, he's never seen without the rapier that he obtained from his mother named Alucard. Enchanted by magic, the sword is virtually unbreakable. His weapons and other belongings are housed in an armory within his fathers castle that has been sealed off and placed into a magical pocket dimension that he has access to. Entry is gained by a steel door summoned by Alucard. Dante's Hammerspace also has an access point. WEAKNESSES: Alucard feels pain just like every other person. He can be stabbed, shot, and crushed like anyone. Beheading is a surefire way of killing him. HISTORY Not much is known about his past he is the son of Count Vlad Tepes and a kindhearted mortal woman named Lisa. She was the only mortal ever to capture the evil vampire's heart, but unfortunately she was burned at the stake for being a witch. She had been caught and sentenced to death by the people of a nearby village who thought she was performing witchcraft because she was married to Dracula. The potions she had been making however were healing potions for the sick. Lisa's last words to Alucard were, "Do not hate humans, for theirs is already a hard lot." After the incident, he left home and traveled the world and went to England. Sick of his life due to the chaos his father created after his mother's death, had submerged himself in eternal sleep to attempt to purge the world of his own cursed bloodline. During this time, his father, Dracula was defeated. Five years later, his fathers castle, known as Castlevania, reappeared when it was supposed to appear once every century. The appearance of Castlevania has not gone unnoticed by Alucard. The emergance of the castle and the evil it brings wakes Alucard and he too goes to investigate. Once inside, he quickly comes to realize that although his father is still dead, there is something equally bad going on, a dark priest known as Shaft claimed that that the castle was his. Alucard went to war with the creatures inside the castle before eventually defeating Shaft and destroying the castle. After that day, Alucard felt that he needed to purge the world of Vampires to end the threat. A century later, Dracula was revived from death, and Alucard went on to defeat his father before his castle could be restored. Following this incident, Alucard once again shut himself off from the world, going back into hybernation. This sleep was a short once, as he eventually felt his father's evil and went to invesitgate, eventually finding his father's castle on the outskirts of London. Entering the castle, Alucard was immediately attacked and fended off the monsters inside while making an ally in a man named Exaleus. Together, the two defeat the creatures inside and kill Dracula once more before destroying the castle. Soon after, Alucard put himself to sleep in a cave in England. Alucard went back to his sleep for several centuries, until 1976, where his old friend, Excaleus, now Dante, found him in a cave and woke him up, whom Alucard was surprised to see him still alive and looking young after all these centuries. After a long discussion with Alucard to fill in his lost time, the two returned back to town and ran into Daiyei, Dante's old friend, and after a short conversation, the trio went off to wander the world, fighting demons and the like. One such occasion 30 years later created a meeting between the three and the X-Men, whom saved the three from an untimely death. Alucard, Dante, and Daiyei have not officially joined the X-Men as they continue to wander the world to battle the supernatural, but they do drop in on occasion and help when needed.
