"Blink? Clarice was off doing the Exiles gig when I joined up with you, Brian and Pete," Nocturne replied as she thought about how to find Clarice. "Crystal Palace, Sage? Think we could get to her there?"
Sage frowned as she thought about the Crystal Palace and all the heartache it had been witness to. She didn't want to go back there, but they had very little choice. "It is likely your best option," Tessa replied as she kept tapping away at her console. "TJ, could you take them there, given the proper coordinates?"
"Teleport? Uhm..." TJ started to say as Tessa shook her head. "Oh! Find Clarice once we get there. Yup. I can work the nav system in the palace."
"Then I can open a body slide portal to the Crystal Palace," Sage added as she looked at Erinyes and Major Domo. "Between you and Clarice, you should be able to get to your brothers. Having one teleporter on a mission like this is a very bad idea."

"Understood," Erinyes said to Sage before she turned back to Major Domo. "Thank you. I'd be worried leaving you behind. I'm still not sure everyone here is happy we stuck around, and I don't want to come back and find you got stuck in some cell."
"No one would stick anyone in a cell," Sage replied as she sighed and kept working.
"I've heard stories, about that red haired warrior you have running around," Erinyes said as she tried to shake off the bad feeling she had. "I can make a glamour, Major Domo. And we can carry extra clothing and get you gloves. I can only imagine what will be waiting for us. Thank you for your help."

''Why is having one teleporter on a mission like this a bad idea?'' Major Domo asked. He faced Erinyes and smiled at her. ''I doubt the X-Men will imprison me. Hmmm. Maybe unless one of them carried a grudge about me.'' Major Domo tilted his head in confusion. ''A glamour?'' He smiled again. ''I'm more than happy to help you, Erinyes.''

"I know why Sage wants more than one teleporter to go on this mission," Erinyes said softly as she reached up to wipe a tear from her eye. "If one is hurt, the other can take over. It makes sense since we will not be in a position to call for backup."
"Precisely," Sage replied as she finished setting her coordinates for the Crystal Palace. "Once you get past the borders of the Crystal Palace, you will pretty much be on your own. It will provide you with a way there and a way home, but getting reinforcements might prove difficult."
"I'm ready whenever you all are," Erinyes said as she looked at Major Domo. "Thank you again. All of you."

''That makes sense,'' Major Domo said after he heard the answer to his question about teleporters. His confused expression came back as soon as Erinyes wiped a tear from her eye. *I hope I didn't say anything to distress Erinyes* he thought. He smiled at Erinyes after she thanked everyone. ''I'm prepared to go,'' he said. He took a deep breath in preparation for saving her brothers.

TJ looked at everyone going on this mission and wished her Dad was going to go along as well. Having someone as brave and smart as Kurt Wagner would be a no-brainer, but he was away on another mission. "OK, let's get going. How old are your brothers, Bethany?"
"Both my brothers are younger than I am, but as for their exact age, well, that is going to be hard to pinpoint. They tend to age people prematurely in The Tank. When I last saw them, they were teenagers. They could be any age now. That's why I'm so scared. My powers are odd as it is. I need someone to hit me to get them to activate fully. Joshua's powers always worked on rage as well, but you don't have to hit him to make them work. Jericho, well, they tried to graft a demon into him."
TJ's heart sank when she heard Bethany explain about her world and why getting to her brothers was so critically time sensitive now. "OK, just need to have Sage..."
"Portal is open," Sage replied as TJ looked through and saw the Crystal Palace on the other side.
"I hope Clarice is there or easy to find when we get there," TJ added as she started to go through the portal. "Everybody follow me."

Major Domo winced after Erinyes said she had to be struck in order to activate her abilities. He wasn't sure if he could bear to see anyone hit Erinyes. He usually didn't care about others being attacked, but she was the only exception. Erinyes had freed him from slavery when she helped him escape from his master, Mojo. *I have to help her in any way possible* he thought. Major Domo nodded at TJ after she instructed everyone to follow her.
A gentle smile appeared on his face when he turned to Erinyes. ''We'll release your brothers from bondage as soon as possible, Erinyes. You're already good at freeing other slaves.'' Major Domo's fingers touched his chest as if to make his point. Turning to the portal, he began to walk through it. He was used to portals due to Spiral's ability to create them in Mojo's world.

"And what should I tell the good Doctor Bradley if I see him?" Sage asked Paris as the group prepared to depart for the Crystal Palace.
"Cybercide is sort of on hiatus at the moment," Paris replied as she hefted a rifle on her back. "But at least we have the modified mech-tech to take along. I can't take the full suit."
"No, not practical for this sort of mission. Good luck, everyone," Sage added as the portal closed behind the group. "Now, Madison, time for me to get to that insipid party."
