Powers: Super strength that increases with rage and anger, near super sonic speed, limited flight abilities, and super healing factor.
Origin:
Drake was an offspring of an entity that called itself the Cosmic Dragon. It came to earth tracking down Silver Surfer to strike vengeance upon him for leading the Devourer of Worlds to his homeworld. During Cosmic Dragon's short stay on he met with a female police officier Sue Sampson and the two fell in love after he rescued her from a super villian's path of destruction.
The two lived together for a couple years and on the night Sue told Dragon she was pregnant, he left earth vowing to end the path of the Silver Surfer once and for all to forever protect his new family. He never returned.
Sue raised Drake on her own, teaching him the virtues of law and compassion however rage always over came him. Angry his father left them, angry at the world for torturing their family because he was different.
On Drake's 21th birthday he came home late to his house on fire, he raced inside to find his mother burned alive. No fire truck, police or anyone came to help. People just stood outside looking at him with disgust, whispering words of hatred. Drake went into a rage, blaming them all for killing his mother. A strong sense of power flowed through his veins, he started destroying the neighborhood until his actions attracted the attention of one of the Avengers, Captain America.
The two battled it out causing even more damage to the neighborhood, Captain America finally realized that fighting was only making him stronger and threw down his shield offering a truce.
Drake paced back and forth narrowing his eyes on Captain American. As the two began to talk, his temper drastically cooled. Finding evidence that someone did in fact killed his mother and burned down the house Captain America offered Drake to join the Avengers and swore to find who was responsible.
Drake reluctantly refused the offer but agreed to partner up if they ever needed him. From then on Drake roamed the country helping random people. On his travels he made allies with various super groups like the X-men, at the same time made even more enemies. He even went toe to toe with Juggernaut and Hulk on a few occasions. He visits the Avengers and X-men often when he passes through but mostly he travels searching for something that isnt yet apparent to even him.
