Bio- Padre has been a longtime alley to the x-men and mutantkind in general. From the outside he runs a regular chruch, but behind doors it is actually a safe haven for mutants on the run or those who just need a place to stay. He developed strong ties to the X-Men Nightcrawler and Kurt has come to him many of times when his faith was faltering or he needed guidance. Padre on the outside seems an unlikely priest, he isnt cleancut, he uses vile language and there are guns in this church, but deep down the man is a saviour to many mutants and his door is always open for those seekign refuge and help for the good of mutants.
